Syria: The War Within take us to a wartorn Aleppo a year after the Arabic spring arrived to Syria. Photographer Olof Jarlbro has entered the country illegally and is covering the insurgent FSA – Free Syrian Armystruggles against the regime. Jarlbro’s straightforward approach takes him directly to the different frontlines in Syria’s largest city where he spends his time with the rebellion. Despite the nonstop present of life and death, Jarlbro takes his time to make portraits, images that reveal the human aspect of war. Jarlbro’s photographs depict the core of the Arabian spring in Syria.
